Your Tongue

You have only one tongue, and don't you forget that it actually doesn't belong to you. Its God’s.
With that very same tongue, you glorify God, and exalt His name, you proclaim His mighty power and His Holiness, and you call Him your Father, and in the Spirit you pray to Him. But the sad thing is; with the very same tongue you praise God, you go and tear down a heart of someone for whom Christ died. On one side God is glorified with your tongue, and on the other, His creation is thrown apart! Do not break down what God has built – do not hurt anyone, for God died for all, and they are all important like you are to Him.

Be careful with what comes out from your mouth. Do not sin in your anger (Psalm 4:4). Every careless word men may speak, they will give account of it in the Day of Judgment (Matt 12:36). Choose to say nothing, when you are pushed to say something. There is a problem behind every pushed word. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil (Ecc 12:13-14)

Avoid empty arguments; they make one look fool in the eyes of the Lord. Even if you know that you are truly right in your case, avoid it - let them win and the Lord will prove them wrong. If you pull out, God will come in to prove the truth, but if you do not pull out, He will not come in. Stop trying to handle things on your own, but let God do it. For it is written," Do not depend on your own understanding, nor your own wisdom, fear the Lord and depart from evil" (Prov 3:5-7).

All I can share with you is The Love of Christ and anything else He gives me. If He teaches me anything new, I bring it to you! Let your Love be seen. Let your light shine.

In the truth, I love you.
